Two-Way Business Texting
A texting system handles appointment reminders, confirmations and customer replies by text message, and staff step in whenever a person is needed.
Handle the text messages that pile up
Customers prefer to text, and replies arrive at all hours. They range from a request to move an appointment to a question about a technician's arrival or a bill. Someone has to read each one. Two-way texting sends the reminders and confirmations from the business number and reads what comes back. It answers what the script covers, such as confirming or moving a visit and sharing arrival times, and updates the calendar. Anything else lands in a shared inbox for staff, with the thread attached.

Frequently asked questions
Do customers need an app to receive the messages?
No. Messages arrive as ordinary text messages on any phone, from the business number, and customers reply the same way. Staff see the same conversations in the shared inbox, so nothing is hidden from the business.
How do customers stop receiving texts?
They reply stop, and the system ends messages to that number and records the request. Staff can see who has opted out, and the opt-out wording is reviewed with the business before launch.
Who writes the messages customers receive?
Staff approve the wording of each reminder, confirmation and reply template. Drafts are prepared in the business's own voice and kept short. A change goes live only after staff approve it.
