Work Order Management

Work orders created from each repair or service request, assigned to the right technician and closed with parts and notes attached.

Repair requests arrive by phone, text and email

Requests come in by phone, text, email and sticky note. A technician arrives without the right part, and a finished job closes with no notes. Billing then waits on someone to ask what happened. Each request becomes a work order, assigned by set rules. The system attaches the parts used and the technician's notes and closes the order when the work is reported done. A person approves each closing and any message that goes to a customer or tenant.

Frequently asked questions

Do technicians need a new tool to close an order?

Technicians keep the phone or tablet they use now. They report by a method set up with them, such as a text reply or a short form, and it is tested with them before launch.

Does it work with the maintenance or billing software already in use?

It connects to the software in use now, wherever its plan allows it. Each connection is confirmed before the build, and a plan that blocks one is reported plainly to the client.

What if a request is vague or incomplete?

It goes to the review list with the missing details noted, and the system drafts a question to the requester. A person reviews and sends that question, and the order waits for the answer.

Where do work orders and customer details stay?

In the client's own accounts. Access is limited to named people. The system records each order it creates, assigns or closes, along with who approved it, so every order has a history.

Start with the work orders as they arrive.

A consultation looks at how requests reach the team and what a finished order needs to show.
